Stuff like: a sim racing rig on a budget, a home server quiet enough for a bedroom, a workshop bench with decent lighting, a first 3D printer setup, or a garage that finally has outlets where you need them. If it means buying twelve things that all have to work together, it’s a good fit.

The work is tedious, the result is really satisfying, and no reasonable person would spend a weekend on it. I’m not reasonable about this stuff.
